Importance of Glyconutrients

Glyconutritionals are a combination of eight essential sugars necessary for cell to cell communication. Just imagine an immune system cell that is trying to talk to an a cell in your mucus membrane, but does not have all eight of its words or letters. The immune cell may very well miss the message that the mucus membrane cell is struggling with an invasion of bacteria, and needs help. If too many missed communications happen, we get sick. It used to be that we could get the necessary monosaccarides in our home grown food, but that is no longer the case. (Mom's milk has five of those eight, so they must be important!) When I started looking at the science of glycomics, which is broadly the study of thesed essential cell covering molecules, I was amazed to see Nobel prizes awarded. I recommend your looking into glyconutrients. Frazzled Dad Mike, who makes sure every day that the other members of the family get them.
